companies’ seeds.  Poor farmers grow their own seeds for nothing.  If the GM giants’ terminator genes become reality, peasant farmers won’t be able to grow their own seed at all.  The companies use nice comfy language like “Genetically Modified / GM”, but most of us remember when this technology used to be called “genetic engineering” don’t we?  What happened?  “Genetic engineering” had a scary Frankenstein kind of image, so they changed the name.  They manipulate minds.  Same with the GM companies use of the word “geneflow”.  This word never existed; they made it up.  It describes the way that genetic codes can escape from the engineered crop by cross pollinating with other species, some natural.  It is a word designed to massage the truth to appear nicer.  It is truth persecution.  Any environmental scientist will tell you that this cross-contamination comes clearly within the definition of pollution: something man made which has got where it isn’t wanted.  So this is not “geneflow” at all, it is genetic pollution.  But of course, although this is truth, it makes the genetic industry look a bit dodgy; so they changed the words!
The conventional techno-fix approach is fuelled entirely by the greed of the massive companies like Aventis and Monsanto, who stand to make mega-bucks by getting the world hooked on their products.  Get on the net, and find out the facts through Greenpeace, or Friends of the Earth and do
