And that is the point of dreaming – sorting out a brain confused by much input. Freudian dream analysis is crucial when we’re confused. When one is perturbed about something, one can go to sleep and in the night the answer may come, and in the morning one will often feel better. It’s usually the dreams which wake us up in turmoil which say the most. Last night I realised I actually like the grounded-ness of my day job. I woke just after it came to me in a dream. The stability and on-going routine actually help me survive the mad stuff. And today I feel happier and more relaxed than yesterday. But the confused problem got there by so much information baffling my conscious – too many people telling me how I should be. When I slept, the natural me spoke, and said what I really want.
For Taoists, elimination of the ego is what it’s all about.
Imagine if you very naturally solved some world scale puzzles, not out of malice, just doing what you were designed to do. Fate gave you the puzzle, you worked out the solution without effort, unconsciously. The Universe and you flowed together. Then what to do with it. You see the power of the knowledge you discovered, how it can generate cash. By associating empowering knowledge about love with the knowledge, many people can be reached. And money generated can be put to good causes. Causes, like businesses which can reproduce themselves, setting up a chain of events to bring about a great deal of improvement in our world.
That is the potential of Daoism.
A friend seemed taken aback that a belief system could explain everything. Well when you understand it, it can’t not explain everything. It is everything! Daoism is based on What Is There. If it isn’t there, it isn’t in! It’s so simple! It has to be the Truth, because if something comes along which is not truth, then it is not in. And it starts with self evident simplicity. One and one and one is three. The universe, according to physics, is governed by simple mathematical laws. The maths creates physics. The physics creates chemistry. Chemistry leads to biology. Biology made human’s evolved. Humans have souls. It all came from the laws built into the universe from the outset. The Universe created love. The way the universe works made us, so it has to be right. It can’t be wrong. Science, love, spirituality, Tantra, Dao, psychology, environmentalism, quantum physics, the birth of the universe, truth – it all fits. There are no contradictions, if you decide only to
