In Chinese folk law, the dragon is the symbol of change.  Ancient Chinese philosophers recognised that to change is to grow, is to become stronger.  They saw the strength in change and awarded change the potent emblem of the dragon.  The ancient Chinese recognised that change can only occur when a person surrenders their ego – “you have to want to change” means exactly the same thing, but in the language of modern psychology.  To be in complete touch with reality, and therefore have no delusions, and to reach one’s complete potential is the goal of those who follow the ancient Chinese way of Life – Taoism (or Daoism).

Love, mental health, spiritual growth, and truth all concur perfectly.

So to be a strong person, and to be a good person, and to receive love, one must be able to put one’s hand up in the air and say “I have got things wrong in the past, I did not understand
