If one has a big ego, one is a poor listener.  One must be able to raise a hand and say “I don’t know everything” only then can one be receptive to new valuable information.
In Daoism yin is the feminine force of the universe.  This can be applied with great affect – yield to new ideas from people, and explore where they lead.  It is a very practical and proven methodology.

Injecting Into The Global Psyche

Heard about how annoying caravans are on motorways?  Know what is brown and sticky? (a stick).  Understand English?  There is a collective psyche – common knowledge – which we can influence.  The above observation and joke prove this is the case.  It only takes a couple of people in a pub to joke about caravans, and before log it’s a national issue.  So it is with bettering the world.  It is possible to influence the collective psyche, especially through the media, and the internet.  We can use association to bring  ethical issues in line with things people desire like money, sex, social status.  Presently environmentalists and spiritual people are often dismissed as cranks.  That situation can be changed if we make a deliberate plan to change it.  When people see that it is cool to care, they will want to change – they will become receptive.  (even though they are acting out of self interest – but the ends are sufficient.)

Stay Focused

Would you vote to dissolve your pressure group if it would cause greater benefit to do so?  Are you exploring new, possibly more effective methods of campaigning?  If not, why not?!  If we are totally focused on the goal – to bring about maximum benefits to all life as quickly and efficiently as possible – we can avoid wasting energy on less effective methods.
In World War II, the allied prisoners held in the Nazi maximum security prison, Colditz, built a full size two person glider under the noses of the German guards.  They did it because they were focused, ruthlessly efficient officers with military training.  We can match that.

Tapping The Mind-Resource

The minds of thousands of campaigners are working constantly to solve the problems of how best to fix the planet.  It is like a gigantic super-computer with one question set before it.  And the
